Sales coaching is all about helping you understand the things that are getting in your way and the actions you need to take to achieve your goals.

Getting the most from sales coaching

We spend quality one to one time to discuss how you can achieve more.  Generally sales coaching is conducted over the phone at times to suit you.

The format of each coaching session is we discuss, explore, and then agree on concrete actions you can take to challenge yourself to move you closer towards your goal.

I’ll take notes during your coaching session, and I’ll email them to you shortly afterwards.

Between sessions I’m always available by email if you need my support in any way.

Before your sales coaching starts

To ensure we get the maximum value from each coaching session, I’ll ask you to fill out a short profile of yourself and email it to me before we start.

In each coaching session we’ll follow a five step process.  It goes like this…

Sales coaching process

Purpose

At the outset we agree what is you want to change and what you want to achieve.  You describe what’s holding you back, and we agree what a successful outcome might be.

Objective

We start to help you explore more deeply what you want to achieve and where you are right now.  This leads to us agreeing what your goals or desired outcomes are.

We’ll explore what your goals really mean, why they’re important to you, why you’re motivated to do this and establish how you’ll know when you’ve achieved them.

Problem

We explore what’s standing in your way between you and success.  How you see the problems, and how they’re getting in your way.

Solution

We explore ways in which you could either overcome the problem, or find ways of avoiding it.  The principle is we want to agree what you could do to solve the problem.

Action

We agree a specific action plan and timeframe for you to take the actions you need to take.
